that will throw snow back at us today. speaking of temperatures you can see 36 at the airport. 92 percent the humidity. barometer down a bit. the winds at the moment are calm. sampling of temperatures right around the immediate metropolitan area of the beltway a little colder off to the north or northwest. readings above freezing. randallstown sykesville 33. haven't moved all that much this morning. a little further south you take the temperatures up a couple degrees. in baltimore we are seeing snowflakes and the temperatures are in the mid 30s to around 40. just a couple hundred feet up the temperatures are at freezing. what's coming down is snow makes it snowflakes all of the way down to the ground. in a the mid to upper 30s down south of us. the snowflakes have a tendency to melt before they get to the surface. here's the satellite image. starting to develop as a coastal storm out west. clouds behind the cold front which is right along the coast right now over us. the clouds reach all of the way back into the mountains.
